The summer of 2015 saw a whole range of beautiful weddings, one of which was Jodie and Will’s big-day on 11th July. The couple tied the knot at the breathtaking Rame Church, before making their way to Polhawn Fort, Cornwall – the perfect spot for a wedding celebration.
The stunning setting has always been one of my favourites. Set in a beautiful coastal location, we all enjoyed views across the sea. As you can imagine, the backdrop made for some pretty awesome photos too! The couple were also lucky enough to experience fantastic weather – meaning we could all make the most of the venue’s beautiful gardens on the fabulous summer day.
Hailing from London, and oozing serious style, I knew the couple would plan a chic wedding day from the moment we met. Jodie was so stylish and looked amazing in her sparkly Pronovias wedding gown. In the words of her husband, Will, she looked like a goddess.
The pastel colour scheme, featuring beautiful blue tones, was perfect for the season too, and completed the couple’s laid back, beach-inspired wedding day. Jodie and Will had so many of their friends down from London – it really was a special day. The couple’s families were fantastic too.
One thing I particularly loved about the wedding was the personal touches and attention to detail. A romantic ambience was created in the church with music from the choir. It was such a quaint, beautiful church and really added that special touch to the pair’s nuptials. The couple also treated their guests to seaside fare with a fun ice cream van, and provided the perfect evening entertainment with a live band – who were fab! There’s always a lot of pressure when it comes to wedding day speeches, but I’ve got to say I was impressed. They were very funny!
I loved every moment of shooting this special wedding day. The location, the wedding style, the atmosphere… it was all beautiful. The whole day proved that you needn’t pick a venue that’s close to home too. Jodie and Will had their heart set on a beach wedding and made all the necessary arrangements to make that possible. The result? Perfection!

It was so beautiful to capture the union of a such lovely couple in London Chelsea Physic Garden.
The bride lives in Chelsea, her beautiful apartment is situated beside the Thames, the natural light just floods in through the huge windows. The ceremony was held in Chelsea registry office, such a beautiful historic venue which opens out onto the high street. The wedding reception venue – Chelsea Physic Garden was surrounded by the most astonishing plants and flowers evoking a sense of an enchanted garden. The garden was founded in 1673 by the Society of Apothecaries; one of Europe’s oldest botanic gardens. Important Herb and Medicinal collections, and of Mediterranean plants.
The striking bride, covered in white from head to toe walked in white Manolo Blahnik wearing a graceful dress provided by Oscar de la Renta; classically elegant.
It was an honour to be able to photograph this day. Such a perfect fairytale wedding.
Dress: Oscar de la Renta

I would love to photograph a wedding on my trip to New York this winter.
Are you getting married in New York this winter?
Are you a wedding planner with weddings booked in New York this winter?
Do you write for a New York Wedding blog?
If so I would love to hear from you and work with you so please get in contact.
Here’s my story…..
I am a professional wedding photographer based in the UK. I am travelling
to New York over the Christmas period in 2015 (dates 17th December 2015 – 5th January 2016). I am really looking for the opportunity to work with a New York wedding planner to photograph a beautiful winter wedding.
I am a destination wedding photographer and have photographed a diverse range of weddings across Europe, and I would love to shoot a winter wedding in New York City this winter.
I need to connect with a bride and groom so I can photograph their wedding? I know it is very short notice so there is also the possibility of a pre-wedding shoot instead?
I know this sounds unusual but I would love to do this for free (my fee is usually $2600). I just had the idea that I would love to be a blessing to couple on their wedding day due to it being Christmas, but if the couple insisted on paying me I would donate the money to a great charity.
I am planning to get this wedding featured on an international wedding blog; I have been featured on 7 top UK/ international wedding blogs in the last 12 months alone including Mr & Mrs Unique, Want That Wedding, Wed Magazine, Juno & Joy, Festival Brides, Coco Wedding Venues, and The Wedding Community.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or queries.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon xxxx

We were blessed with a stunning location and beautiful weather for this spring styled wedding shoot at Clovelly Court in North Devon. It was the first time I had visited this venue and the first thing that jumped out at me was beautiful Victorian walled gardens (Clovelly Court Gardens), I absolutely LOVE wedding venues with gardens, they are a rich source of vibrant and beautiful scenery for a photo shoot or real life wedding photos. I particularly love the old walled around these gardens, they have so much texture!
The photo shoot was styled with a vintage and festival theme. This stunning styled wedding photo shoot organised by the Devon wedding planning company Blue Fizz Events. Featuring the Blue Fizz gorgeous marquees. Blue Fizz Events’ highly professional and efficient wedding planner team will create wonderful experiences for your marquee celebration – whatever the occasion, and across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. They specialise in planning weddings, christenings, anniversary parties and corporate events – and of course they offer marquee hire too.
It was the first time I had worked with the Blue Fizz team and all I can say is that I was very impressed by their professionalism, amazing organisation, and the abundance of creative ideas they had for the photo shoot. The models were also very experienced and were great to work with.
My favourite elements of the photo shoot:
I loved all the flowers in garden especially the bed of tulips. The bouquet was brilliant, the colours suited the theme perfectly.
The vintage dresses supplied by the wonderful Days Of Grace, who supply heirloom gowns of a vintage style for brides. These one-off designs are made from antique lace and vintage textiles and are perfect for country weddings, barefoot on the beach or a beautiful summer picnic and they are all so so beautiful.
The headdresses were all so pretty, my favourite was the Liberty Halo headdress supplied byHey Jules. The Liberty Halo is perfect for the free spirited bride.
Here are some images from our styled Vintage Festival photo shoot at Clovelly Court, Clovelly Village.
I would like to give a huge thank you to the following Devon wedding suppliers:

This lovely couple are getting married on their farm in Devon in a few days time. Romantic country weddings are always so unique and set in the heart of the beautiful countryside. I absolutely love farm weddings!
The couple wanted to show me around the farm and have a practise photo shoot before their big day. They chose the stunning bluebell woodland as their pre wedding photo shoot location. The sea of bluebells turned the woodland floor into a dazzling carpet of shimmering blue.
It was a lovely afternoon walking through the woodland discussing the couples wonderful wedding plans. The dog also came along for the photo shoot and loved joining in the photos CUTE.
