Here you will find a little bit more about me, and why I LOVE weddings and family photo shoots so much!
I am a wife, a mum, a traveller and a nature lover! Liberty Pearl is the name of my daughter. I set up the business back in 2013 so I could spend more time with little girl, who was aged 4 at the time, (she is 13 now!) and enjoy lots of adventures during the school holidays. And here I am 8 years later! I am now married to Jesse, and have an 9-year-old stepson, and a 2-year-old daughter!
I studied for my Conservation Biology degree at university in Bristol so I could travel anywhere in the world researching and photographing endangered species. But life guided me along a different path and after several years working as a music photographer I stepped into the world of wedding photography. What a monumental decision this turned out to be.
My personality is warm, welcoming and friendly. I love making people feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera and bringing out those natural smiles.
Combining natural reportage photos with formal/informal portraits, we craft your unique story. Our passion is framing your love against Devon's breathtaking coastline and serene countryside.
On your wedding day I'm helpful and organised. I go about my work in a calm, kind and considerate way. I blend into the background. You won't even know I'm there, which means you can relax and enjoy your day (and your canapés), stress free - knowing I will be documenting the big emotions, incredible couples shots, fun group photos, and all little moments that may pass you by.

Here's a snapshot into my world.
A Little Behind The Scenes Of My Life
We have travelled across the globe, starting with a month long trip to America to visit my father in law, I fell in love with New York! We then took our honeymoon in South Africa and stayed in Cape town which was BEAUTIFUL!
We have since enjoyed trips to Italy - Tuscany & Amalfi Coast, France, and Ibiza. Where next?
Definitely Spain, it's where my husband grew up and I can't wait for him to show us around!

Traveling WITH MY HUSBAND
One of the main reasons I became a wedding photographer is because I LOVE marriage. I was a single mum at the time, and it made me so happy to see couples, so in love on their wedding day. It inspired me to set my goal of finding myself a husband, and I did (I will save that story for another day)!
I love hearing the stories of how couples met during the speeches, and I love an engagement story however perfect or eventful it may be!

Marriage
A family of five who live five minutes from the coast.
You will find us outdoors whatever the weather! Wild swimming & kayaking at our local beach.
Camping in Cornwall for weeks over the summer months, enjoying the local beaches , and eating Cornish Clotted cream ice-creams ! In winter we are walking on Dartmoor or visiting the local south west coastal paths.
My children love jumping in muddy puddles and going on 'adventures', wild camping on Dartmoor, pony rides, and learning to surf!

My Blended family
I love wedding cakes they are just so pretty and super tasty! Favourite flavour has to be lemon and elderflower! Best invention ever!
I love popping down to our local bakery to find out what pastries they have baked fresh that morning (and whether they have anything left)! My favourites are the giant cinnamon croissants! YUM!
I also love going to my favourite cafe for a latte and slice of cake to catch up with friends, I love cake!

I have been a Christian for the past 9 years, it coincided with starting my wedding photography business, (I'll leave that story for another day)!
My faith is very important to me, so of course I LOVE a church wedding! They are so much fun. I love praying for my couples and blessing their marriages.
I capture weddings from all faiths, religions, beliefs and traditions, and have photographed Catholic, Hindu, Muslim, Chinese, African, Asian weddings, and hand fasting ceremonies and Celtic blessings and I loved them all!

We breathe in the sea mist while capturing couples at our favourite Southwest Coastal Venues.
Our hands brush against the green grass of a Country Estate as we find the right position to film you walking down the aisle in your outdoor ceremony.

We develop a personal relationship with every couple because understanding your unique personalities allows us to use our organised unobtrusive approach, to put you at ease, capture your incredible wedding day, to create beautiful memories that are priceless and cherished.
I am very organised and personally handle all inquiries and bookings and love talking through the wedding details, and hearing your engagement stories, especially the funny ones that didn’t go to plan!
I wish I could capture every wedding we book, they are all so beautiful and stylish in so many ways.
We have been named as one of the top 50 UK wedding photographers in 2019, 2020 and 2021, which is a fantastic achievement because it's a very competitive industry.
