I’m a wife, a mum of three, a traveller, and a nature lover, and I’m based here in Devon, where I work as a Devon wedding photographer capturing weddings across Devon, Cornwall, the South West, and the UK.

I started Liberty Pearl Photography in 2013, when my daughter Liberty was just four years old. I wanted to build something that gave me the freedom to be present with my family, whilst doing something creative that I loved. What began as a small, personal business has grown into an established Devon wedding photography business, but at its heart, it has always been about people, connection, and capturing weddings in a natural and honest way.

Before weddings, I studied Conservation Biology at university in Bristol, with dreams of travelling the world photographing wildlife and landscapes. That love for nature has never left me, and it continues to shape my work as a natural Devon wedding photographer, from the way I use light to how I notice the quieter, in-between moments that often go unseen.

Over the past 12 years, I have photographed over 300 weddings across Devon, Cornwall, the South West, the UK, and Europe. From relaxed coastal Devon weddings, to countryside celebrations and elegant destination weddings, every wedding has been completely unique. Whether I’m photographing at a Devon wedding venue, a rustic barn, or along the coastline, I can honestly say I have loved every single one.

My approach to Devon wedding photography is calm, natural, and documentary-led. I know that many couples feel camera-shy, and it’s really important to me that you feel comfortable and at ease. I won’t take you away from your guests for long periods of time or turn your day into a photoshoot. Instead, I gently guide when needed, then step back and allow your wedding to unfold, capturing real, meaningful moments as they happen.

As a mum, I’m especially comfortable around children. Whether they love the camera or want to hide from it, I understand how to work around them naturally. This is something couples often value when choosing a family-friendly Devon wedding photographer, as it allows the day to feel relaxed and effortless.

At home, life is full, busy, and centred around family, and our two cats, who at times are more demanding than the children.

Travel has always been a big part of my life. I love photographing weddings across Devon and Cornwall, but I also travel across the UK and Europe as a destination wedding photographer. Experiencing new places, new people, food, architecture, and landscapes is something that inspires me constantly and shapes the way I see the world through my camera.

I hope you enjoy looking through the website, every image you see is of a real couple… and can you believe it, most of them arrived convinced they were awkward in front of the camera. And yet, they look completely at ease, happy, and fully immersed in their day.
