A stunning festival-themed summer wedding at the beautiful coastal wedding venue Mount Folly Farm in Devon.
Codie & Ashley finally celebrated their wedding with friends and family on a scorching hot day in May with the stunning outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking Bigbury & Bantham beach.
The entire wedding was hosted on-site. Codie and her bridal party got ready in the rustic farmhouse which provides accommodation for wedding guests. The wedding arrival drinks reception was held outdoors on the lawn, and the afternoon tea and wedding reception were hosted in a beautiful tipi marquee set with incredible sea views.
The couple had a great idea of creating a mini bell tent village on the nearby farm campsite for their wedding accommodation and also for a handful of their guests.
The bride wore two beautiful wedding outfits, a stunning floral wedding dress and a stylish bridal jumpsuit for the evening, which look very comfortable. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their blush pink and sage green bridesmaid dresses, and the flower girls and pageboy looked adorable in their cute wedding outfits.
It was a very hot day, which makes it surprisingly difficult to capture photos, there was very little shade on the grounds, so we explored the farm and gardens to find a spot with a beautiful background and not in direct sunlight. We even spotted a few sheep in the fields nearby. The skies were clear blue all day, and the ocean was a stunning shade of aquamarine. I wished we could have jumped in the sea for a quick swim throughout the day to cool off. I think the groomsmen felt the same dressed in dapper blue tweed three-piece suits.
The wedding breakfast was a relaxed affair with a yummy afternoon tea, organised on long banquet tables inside the tipi’s, the cake selection tasted divine. The wedding cake was a hand-painted floral masterpiece it looked too beautiful to cut let alone eat.
It was an emotional yet joy-filled day, filled with sunshine, and a little bit of sunburn, lots of dancing, the bride looked absolutely stunning, and the wedding was styled to perfection with every detail thoughtfully put together to create a Pinterest worthy wedding. But the couple’s cute baby daughter Blossom stole the show with her beaming smile.
There is so much more I could say about this incredible wedding but I will leave you to see it for yourself in the sneak peek wedding highlights gallery below.
