Best of 2016 Devon Wedding Photographer Liberty Pearl

Wowee what an AMAZING year 2016 has been for Liberty Pearl Photography, we have captured 30 amazingly, beautiful, naturally love filled, magical, wonderful weddings, and we have LOVED every single one of them!

This year has been a very exciting year for Liberty Pearl Photography, firstly with Amber from Liberty Pearl Photography getting engaged at the beautiful Gidleigh Park on the edge of Dartmoor in March, then quickly married in May in a quaint little Cornish fishing village, Kingsand, Cornwall. Wedding styling…..elegance and simplicity

We have started styling bridal photo shoots, fusing amazing up and coming and award winning wedding suppliers and boutique venues and their stunning gardens and grounds. These photo shoots have been widely published in top wedding blogs and magazines which has been awesome! We have started a series of wedding photography workshops in Devon and cornwall which have been lots of fun, a huge success and again widely published! We photographed 3 intimate elopement weddings, which were just so simple, magical and relaxed, we cannot wait to capture more of these intimate weddings in 2017.

My first wedding of the year was in January at the beautiful Cornish wedding venue Trevenna Barns. The venue is set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty right on the edge of Bodmin Moor. We have photographed 3 weddings now, and have 2 more booked in for the 2017 wedding season.

Destination weddings

During 2016 we have travelled all over the UK photographing lovely couples at incredible wedding venues. We have also been very lucky to capture destination weddings in Ireland in the Wicklow Mountains at The Kippure Estate, and in Cape Town, South Africa at the Nooitgedacht Estate.  The weddings were absolutely AMAZING! I am a very happy, friendly and relaxed lady, and my aim at every wedding was to capture the love, happiness and joy at everyone one of my 2016 weddings. I got to know as much as I could about my bride and grooms, I found out what really mattered to them on their wedding day. I offered a personalised, flexible and professional service, which put my couples at ease during their wedding planning process. My thoughtful and organised service ensured that all of my clients remained confident and reassured knowing that I was going to capture their wedding day the way THEY WANTED.

This year the weddings have been so exquisitely diverse, we have visited a host of charming and stylish wedding venues with weddings styled in so many different ways. Each and every wedding has mirrored the TRUE character of each couple. We LOVE a wedding that isn’t the traditional ‘cookie cutter’ type wedding. We love capturing weddings that reflect a couple and their personalities however quirky, non traditional and offbeat this may be.

I take inspiration from nature….

Environmental portraits are my passion. I love framing my couples with the surrounding environment, I adore beautiful fields flowing with fresh wild flowers, stunning coastlines, rolling green hills, the wide open landscapes of Dartmoor, The Natural Trust, and forests. So if you are planning a wedding with a location like this nearby this would be my dream wedding to shoot.
