I have been a wedding photographer for over ten years, and I have seen it all, or so I thought!
When I launched my associates team it wasn't common practice, there were only 2 photographers in the Uk that I knew of. I spent months planning my launch, seeking advice and mentoring, recruiting and training my team, seeking legal and financial advice, carrying out market research with my couples and suppliers, to make sure I dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's.
Sadly not everyone who hires an associate team follows the same thorough process, and there have been some catastrophic consequences. So I wanted to do something about it, and raise the standards to prevent any more disasters from happening. If it is not done right, hiring an associate team can ruin your brand and reputation and most importantly it will ruin someone's wedding day.
