Are you the type of bride looking for inspiration, new trends and stylish accessories? The Duke Wedding Collection: Live at Plymouth’s award winning Duke of Cornwall Hotel is the wedding event for you.
We were honoured to be asked to capture the Duke’s first wedding event since it’s wedding relaunch this September. The Duke of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth is a fairytale wedding venue and the event oozed with glamour and vintage splendour.
In between taking photos I spoke to lots of lovely brides, grooms and their families, about the stunning venue and their exciting wedding plans. Many brides took the opportunity to explore this gorgeous venue and enjoyed some top-notch wedding inspiration along the way. It was fantastic seeing so many talented, creative local wedding suppliers all under one roof.
There was also a brilliant prize is up for grabs, in the form of ‘a fabulous vintage experience’, which includes a photo shoot and Champagne ‘Tea at the Top’ with butler service.
With gorgeous wedding inspiration aplenty, a live fashion show and live entertainment amongst the day’s delights, make the event a must in your wedding planning calendar, details coming soon.
You can watch a lovely video from the day made by the fabulous Baxter and Ted here.

We are delighted to be sharing the beautiful pictures from this Hollywood Glamour Vintage wedding shoot that took place at The Duke of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth.
The pictures showcase the hotel’s facilities for weddings in all their splendour, and we love the Hollywood Glamour styling that works perfectly at this stunning hotel.
The Duke of Cornwall is a venue bursting with history and elegance, so when we were planning this inspirational shoot the elegance of the 1930s seemed to capture the spirit of the hotel.
We are really looking forward to showcasing the photos at the DUKE WEDDING COLLECTION: LIVE.

We were blessed with a stunning location and beautiful weather for this spring styled wedding shoot at Clovelly Court in North Devon. It was the first time I had visited this venue and the first thing that jumped out at me was beautiful Victorian walled gardens (Clovelly Court Gardens), I absolutely LOVE wedding venues with gardens, they are a rich source of vibrant and beautiful scenery for a photo shoot or real life wedding photos. I particularly love the old walled around these gardens, they have so much texture!
The photo shoot was styled with a vintage and festival theme. This stunning styled wedding photo shoot organised by the Devon wedding planning company Blue Fizz Events. Featuring the Blue Fizz gorgeous marquees. Blue Fizz Events’ highly professional and efficient wedding planner team will create wonderful experiences for your marquee celebration – whatever the occasion, and across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. They specialise in planning weddings, christenings, anniversary parties and corporate events – and of course they offer marquee hire too.
It was the first time I had worked with the Blue Fizz team and all I can say is that I was very impressed by their professionalism, amazing organisation, and the abundance of creative ideas they had for the photo shoot. The models were also very experienced and were great to work with.
My favourite elements of the photo shoot:
I loved all the flowers in garden especially the bed of tulips. The bouquet was brilliant, the colours suited the theme perfectly.
The vintage dresses supplied by the wonderful Days Of Grace, who supply heirloom gowns of a vintage style for brides. These one-off designs are made from antique lace and vintage textiles and are perfect for country weddings, barefoot on the beach or a beautiful summer picnic and they are all so so beautiful.
The headdresses were all so pretty, my favourite was the Liberty Halo headdress supplied byHey Jules. The Liberty Halo is perfect for the free spirited bride.
Here are some images from our styled Vintage Festival photo shoot at Clovelly Court, Clovelly Village.
I would like to give a huge thank you to the following Devon wedding suppliers:

Such a lovely day for a beautiful Cornish styled wedding photo shoot at the stunning new wedding venue Cosawes Barton.
The magical venue is a beautiful historic estate set in 17acres of Cornish woodlands and fields. This wonderful place first appeared in the Domesday Book of 1086 – although the first recorded resident did not move in until 1396!
It was such an amazing day in the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen!! It was fabulous working for the fist time with such a hugely talented collection of Cornish wedding suppliers.
Thanks to the amazing Jenny Wren Weddings & Events for organising the photo shoot xxx
